Backyard Pool and Entertainment Area Garden Plan
This backyard layout has something for everyone. It has three areas: a deck, a lawn and a pool. It's the perfect layout for entertaining, swimming and playing.
The wood deck is the perfect place to have a bite to eat and watch over the rest of the backyard. A container with a small rose bush has been added to the top left hand corner of the deck to provide beauty and interest. As well, a railing has been placed at the edge of the deck to prevent people from falling off of the deck and injuring themselves.
A step leads down from the deck to the lawn area. The lawn is a great place to stretch out and enjoy the sun. Since the lawn area is quite large, it also makes a great place for kids to run around and play. Two small bushes have been placed on either side of the step, while a small flower bed has been added to the back of the yard. A bench has been placed along the edge of the lawn, for anyone who wishes to sit for a bit.
For safety purposes, a fence has been placed between the lawn and the pool area, so that no one will accidentally fall into the pool. Interlocking brick has been placed around the pool and hot tub. The long, square pool is perfect for doing either laps or playing water volleyball.
