VanDusen Botanical Garden
Here the "VanDusen High Points" walking route follows the Rhododendron Walk, which was given that name because of all the rhododendrons that grow at the side of the trail. The rhododendrons that grow here are a species known as azaleas, which are well-suited to the climate of coastal British Columbia. It is best to see the azaleas during May when they are at the height of their beauty for the year.
