Heather Lake can be found next to Heron Lake. Beside Heather Lake, you will find a small stone shelter and a garden full of heather. The garden here only has one species of heather, the Calluna vulgaris. It grows in a wide variety of colours, but the main colours are pink, red and white. The stone shelter is a recreation of a Scottish settler's shelter, as the Heather Garden was based on a moorland scene from northern Europe.
Fun Fact: The Scottish consider the colour white to be a good luck charm.
