Located in Vancouver, BC. between 29th Avenue and 37th Avenue and between Cambie Boulevard and Ontario Street.  The park covers 130 acres and is the highest point in Vancouver at 501 feet above sea level.  Admission to the park is free, but there is paid parking.  Outdoor gardens include a large quarry, a small quarry, arboretum and rose gardens.  There are stairs, but most areas are accessible by wheelchair.

There are several attractions to see at Queen Elizabeth Park.  In addition to the gardens, there is a roller rink, basketball courts, tennis courts, a golf course and the Bloedel Conservatory.  Complete your visit with a stop at the Season Hill Top Bistro and enjoy breathtaking views of the city and the gardens below.

My personal impression of the Queen Elizabeth Park is one of breath taking views and gorgeous flowers.  The large quarry garden is very relaxing with its small streams flowing through the lush lawns.  Climb to the top of the hill to see all over the city of Vancouver or make your way to the rose garden with countless varieties of roses sure to please everyone.
