Phipps Conservatory and
Botanical Gardens
We now come to the South Conservatory. This was the first addition that was made to the original conservatory. The South Conservatory was added between 1896 and 1897 by Henry Phipps. In the late 1930's, the room was divided into three rooms with the addition of new brick walls and glass partitions. The other two rooms now form the Tropical Fruit & Spice Room and the Gallery.
