Allan Gardens

Located in Toronto, ON, Canada on the south side of Carlton street between Jarvis and Sherbourne Street. Free admission. Indoors. This garden is comprised of 6 greenhouses, all connected together, housing a variety of plants on a total of 16,000 square feet. Allan Gardens features a collection of both seasonal and permanent plants.
My personal impression is one of beauty. Allan Gardens is small in size, but it's definitely a fresh of breath air in the middle of the city. It's a great place to stop, smell the flowers and relax. I also love the fact that you can often find artists sketching scenery both in the greenhouses and in the park.
