Fettuccini Alfredo Recipe

Serves 4.

1 (16 ounce) package of fettuccini pasta
½ cup of butter
2 cups of heavy cream (35% whipping cream)
1 cup of freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper
Parmesan cheese

Cook pasta according to package directions. While pasta is being cooked, melt butter in large saucepan and add cream, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and then simmer for a few minutes uncovered to reduce and thicken sauce. Add parmesan cheese to sauce and stir for a few minutes. Strain fettuccini and mix with sauce. Serve immediately.
