Apple Crisp Recipe

Apples, peeled and sliced, or 1 can of apple pie filling
1 cup of Quaker quick oats
½ cup of flour
½ cup of brown sugar
2 to 3 tablespoons of soft butter or margarine
¾ teaspoon of nutmeg
¾ teaspoon of cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 180 degrees Celsius. Fill bottom of pie plate or small, glass cake pan with apples or pie filling. Combine remaining ingredients in a separate bowl. Use a fork to blend the ingredients together. Put the topping over the apples. Place in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove from heat. Serve warm or cool.
