About Us
I have always been surrounded by gardens - whether they were vegetable
gardens or flower gardens. My dad is an avid gardener. His vegetable garden
was so large that he would invite the neighbours to come and pick as much as
they liked. We gave away plenty to friends and relatives ... the more my dad
gave, the happier he was. Of course, it's my dad's flower gardens that
received all the attention. During the summer there were always fresh cut
flowers on the table.
Now that I'm all grown up, it's my turn. It started off with a spider plant in my dorm room in University. Then an african violet was added and somehow a plant here and there until I have no more room left. I moved into my very first house this December and I'm already planning to put in a small vegetable and flower garden in the backyard this spring. I can't wait!
On a side note, the advertisers on this website help bring you great gardening products and information. I'd appreciate it if you'd check them out - purchase from them if you can and reward them for helping you get great info. If you have a major problem with any product or service you've purchased from any of these companies, I trust you'll deal with them directly to solve the problem. While I can't do anything to help with unresolved problems, I would like to know if you're really unhappy. I want both my visitors and my advertisers to be useful to each other (and if a company is messing with my visitors - it won't be here long - my visitors are why I have created this website).
